QUALIFICATIONS: I have a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Applied Mathematics (with a Physics option), and a Bachelor of Education Degree (BEd).
INSPIRATION: While I enjoyed teaching in a classroom environment, I find it very rewarding to work with students one on one. Helping my two children with their studies growing up inspired me to want to continue tutoring and to branch out to work with other students. I am very passionate about math, learning, and helping others.

The areas that I focus on with my students, and skills that I work to strengthen include:
Current course work
Basic skills that need strengthening (including problem-solving skills)
Ways to manage workload, stress, and reduce test anxiety
Organization skills to set you up for success
Enrichment material including math contest preparation
I use multiple teaching methods including computer software, hands on learning-materials, and educational games.
